Overview

Lam Dong Museum is a place to display traditional and historical artifacts of the locality, especially Lam Dong land. The museum is located at 4 Hung Vuong Street in Dalat on a high hill that was very winding and poetic, so it was called the road of love. In the past, this was the mayor's palace.  The mansion is owned by Nguyen Huu Hao, a rich man and father of Queen Nam Phuong.

The museum has 9 showrooms displaying the contents like: the stages of history, the archaeological objects, the models of shelters, the tools for hunting, the traditional handicraft villages, traditional costumes, traditional festival and the objects of the two resistance wars in Vietnam.

Lam Dong Museum keeps and displays many stone gongs collections found in Lam Dong province. These include B'lao stone gongs (Bao Lam district), Dinh Lac, Lien Dam, Hoa Nam, and Son Dien stone gongs (Di Linh district). These have proven that their lives develop into a high ranking. They may be sensitive to interest and beauty.

The museum brings together nearly 10,000 valuable ceramic, porcelain, copper and iron items in Southeast Asia. The Lam Dong Museum Management Board tried its best to make it more and more special.
