The Dutch are always proud of their windmills. They are the symbol of the pride and power of the people of this country. Due to its lower terrain, the Dutch often struggle with the sea level. The first windmills were built from the year 1400 to pump water into the sea, then used to grind powder, generate electricity. Today, the windmill can be seen all over the Netherlands, but the favorite and most famous destination is the village of Kinderdijk, which houses 19 windmills built between 1500 and 1740, recognized World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.

The statue was created in 1913 by the sculptor Edvard Eriksen at the Langelinie docks in Copenhagen, describing the famous character of Hans Christian Andersen’s tales of the same name.

The Statue of Liberty is located on Ellis Island in the Port of New York which is a gift from the French people to the United States and was inaugurated in 1886. The statue was a Roman-style woman’s gown, with the left hand carved on American Independence Day and the right hand holding the torch. Since it was inaugurated, the Statue of Liberty has become the leading destination and symbol of tourism that makes the world remember the United States. This work also appears in most Hollywood movies.

This is the most famous symbol in French in particular and the world in general. The Eiffel Tower was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution and the 1889 World Exposition. This complete steelwork has been opposed by the authorities and the public since it was still on the drawing board.

However, the people were unimaginable that the work that had been regarded as “nonsense” became a symbol of the whole world when it came to France.
